Take the soft, pliable seagrass and create a unique sculptural form that is surprisingly sturdy. Increasing/decreasing shape, adding spokes, causing ripples and taking care of the wild seagrass ends will be covered. Each participant must know how to twine (either basket or loom twining experience is sufficient - a short class on twining can be given before the sculpture class). The extra day allows more time for experimentation and accomplishment. $200 per day.
