JoAnn Bachelder

JoAnn has a degree in Art and Education from Michigan State University. She is a 'self-taught' weaver/dyer. She has taught weaving at the Midland Center for the Arts from 1986 to 2002. She has also given lectures and workshops throughout the mid-west. In 1994 she opened a studio called Rivertown Textiles where she continues to work, do textile research and teach. She produces functional items and also does wall work for exhibition and commission.
